It's A Robotic World - part 1

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Know what? Today is kinda interesting for me. I went to the Homedec 08 exhibition with my family today. Guess what? I saw something very interesting while mom and dad are looking for some mosquitoe netting. I lied on the lazy chair of that booth and see into another booth. Suddenly I realise something was not right. I thought it was my eyes that plays trick on me for I slept at like kinda "early today". Some kinda round thing is moving! To satisfy my curiosity, I looked at the booth name and it reads -- IRobot.

I was thinking, "what the hell was that?" So the curious monkey went to check it out. To my amusement, it was a robot *duh*! The best thing is... IT CLEANS YOUR HOUSE! Ok ok... You might be thinking this outdated monkey, the damn thing is out in the market for so long already la! Hey, come on la. I just saw the real thing today k? I was so excited! Why? Earlier, I got scolded by my sister for not helping her sweeping the floor at home. Now I found something that helps me do everything! I ran to my dad like a mad monkey and dragged him there like a little kid asking for a new toy. When he saw the robot. He was amazed! Yeah he is tech noob! So after all the tv explanation and catelog kinda things he finally asked the sales girl.

Dad : Ci leh ming kia kui lui har?
How much is this?
Salesgirl : Nor cheng sa pak peh chap peh.
RM2388
Dad : (with a shocking look) tiok mm tiok? Aneh kui meh?
Are you sure? So expensive meh?
Salesgirl : Ho eh ming kia si aneh liao eh la.
Good things is like that wan la.
Dad walked away.

So close yet so far! I thought hell yeah, Monkey with the broom again. Disappointed, I kept walking and walking. Couldn't stop thinking on how nice if I would have this machine at home. Never mind! Maybe I am destined to hold a broom in stead of some robot helping me.

We then went to the second floor which most of the electrical appliances are and some jacuzzi there. I thought maybe I can try my luck on jacuzzi? Woo... Monkey in the jacuzzi! Too bad that is not my dad that didn't want to buy it. Just that the toilet or the bathroom is just to small for a jacuzzi that fits me! So once again, disappointed! So kept walking lo. Then, here comes my hope again! I came across another round thing that moves! This time I don't act like kids again. I walked to the booth and listen to what they are promoting. Know what? Basically what they are saying is a repeat from the previous booth. However, there's this phrase that the other booth didn't have. TODAY LAST DAY PROMOTION! ONLY RM 898! At first I thought it was 1898, then he shouted again. RM898 only! He he he. I grabbed my dad's hand and pulled him there again. Once my family was there, the guy there started his speech again but with broken english this time. Whatever it is, broken english or perfect english, as long as your thing is good, it suits Penangites! So, finally! My dad nodded his head! Everyone doesn't care whether he meant it or what, mom just tell the salesman. Take one.

WEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!! At last! No more monkey with the broom. Now I am going to test the robot. So till then. Tataz.
