Sad to say it wasn't as good as my mom expected (of course)... I was not as bad as I was expecting. I got a Wonderful straight B's with 4 B+ and 1 B-... LOL... The first thing that ever come to my mom is. I think it's not your fault la. But you don't play play har! They will really axe you if you don't perform. Well it reminds her the list she saw when she first came to UTAR. When 30+ students were to resit for a paper where not more than 50 people took it.<br /><br />However, the next thing that came to her was. What the hell! You got such result and yet you got a new phone! For those who still don't know. She just got me SE W705 last week. Well, I just went like... HEHE... What to do? the result came later what... Actually kinda guilty also la... I came back for 2 weeks and I spent almost 2000 already... I got the 705 and a new shade today and I bought 2 Rubik's Cubes. One really nice wan. I'll post the pictures after I take it. It's silver (the whole cube) and every small "cube" is different in size. It's kinda hard to solve at first thanks to the whole silvery thing. However after much patients and time spent. I finally solved it. *proud*<br /><br />Well after that my dad came home. Actually I was worried bout how to tell him my result. This is how he get to know my result. We were on a conversation in front of the TV watching Federer vs Martin.<br />Dad: Where do you get your result.<br />Me: *cibai* Of all thing! Internet lor.<br />Dad: What's the score then?<br />Me: 3.18...<br />Dad: WHAT? 3.18? U mean 3?<br />Me: NO. 3.18 ( 0.18 makes alot of diff ok! )<br />Dad: How can a game ended with 3.18. Lakers is leading with 3 right?<br />KANNEH!!!! Watching tennis but ask me basketball. Then he felt something wrong and asked what's that 3.18. Is that my result. What to do, I have to tell him right? So I admitted lor. To my amusement. He said one thing only. Told you it's getting harder what. Samore come back so frequent. LOL!!!<br /><br />I mean what a relief you know. I thought he is going to start nagging again. Well he didn't. Lucky me... HEHEHEHE... Actually... HOLY SHIT! I better do something next sem. I got lucky by escaping the withdrawal of my Scholarship by 0.02 points only. No more DotA man...<br /><br />-DAMN-<br />offSepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-60714000679025212562009-05-21T20:12:00.002+08:002009-05-21T20:21:33.055+08:00HOLIDAYING!!!Well... Long time didn't update already... Rotting already my blog... What to do? Having a busy life for the past month preparing for finals and now busy holidaying. This exam is seriously bitchy and I don't really have confidence that I will get any good result. Heard the result is coming out tomorrow. CRAP!!!!! Now please at least 3.5 so that I can maintain my scholarship.<br /><br />Nah. Don't be so down la. It's just an exam. LOL. Holiday more important. Actually I've been holidaying for like a week already. Just that I am so long away from home. The most important thing that we should do in Penang is of course EAT!! So I have been busy eating and watching movies actually. Just finished Dragonball, The International, Eagle Eye and Inkheart. Seriously if there isn't Chi Chi, Dragonball will be a waste of money. Now I am looking forward to Night At The Musuem 2. Hopefully got people will invite me and belanja me... (*hinting someone*)<br /><br />Actually I am having a quite short holiday also la. Just merely 19 days. Then I have to go back to that stupid place again. ARGH!!!!!! I don't wanna go back. I love my bed here... But I can't move the whole thing to Setapak. Oh well... What to do? Who ask me to be so "smart" go choose Actuarial Science then have to stay in Setapak. Choose teachers training ma can stay in Penang lo. LOL... Now I am gonna seriously miss those food again. Gotta eat kau kau first before I go back to KL.<br /><br />WAHAHAHAHA... Now go eat d... Been so long not updating this place. A month of preparation for my finals is really reaping me apart! Went from study frenzy to DotA outing and finally exam. Now? In the midst of exam updating me blog lo... So it's going to be a short one. (not the "SHORT" update by Pink Bag)<div><br /></div><div>So today I am suppose to have my Critical Reading and Thinking exam. Everyone look me so up that they gave me some sorta pressure. It's going to be so embarrassing if I did not get an A. In fact it is going to be embarrassing as I don't think A is still a possibility. However, Ms Wee (me lecturer) also not that bad la. She treated me very good. This whole paper was like a noob vs a bloody pro in a DotA match. Below is what happened.</div><div><br /></div><div>Game started.</div><div>I started with cheat (greedisgood 999999) and bought 6 Divine Rapiers. Standing in the mid lane waiting for Ms Wee to come. Then here come the first wave of creeps. I manage to kill some of them but ended up got first blood by her. She took all my Divine and continued owning me like vege. Finally she thought she can't finish me off so fast. It has to be 2 hours. So she toyed me and let me attack a little bit and finally I think I manage to break her first defense.</div><div>Then 2 hours up. </div><div>Tree Destroyed. Scrouge Wins!</div><div><br /></div><div>The exact same thing happened in the exam hall. The moment I saw the paper I though YAY! However when I was reading all the questions YAY ---> knmpkccbhmlc lai? And this is where the ownage of Ms Wee began. All the way the paper was like bitch and I can't really be sure of every answer until the last part where I am suppose to write and argumentative essay. The moment I saw the question. I realise why blogging is such a good pass time. I WROTE THE DAMN THING IN MY BLOG 2 MONTHS AGO!!! Should Teaching of Math and Science in English be continued? I was so happy that I don't even have to think and I just started writing. I finished the 400 words essay in less than 30 minutes and spent most of my time slashing out words cause I wrote too many words. LOL...</div><div><br /></div><div>I think this paper is generally LIFE TAKING! Here by I bid my President's list goodbye... TATA</div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>OUT! </div>Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-83142518866378063662009-03-28T09:00:00.002+08:002009-03-28T09:29:13.535+08:00Life After Test... Not Good...Been having a very "BUSY" sem this year. Seriously! It's a very "BUSY" one. Starting of the sem still ok cause it's a new beginning ma. However, the lecturer was like, now I know you more, it's time to torture all of you. So quizzes. assignments, presentations and DEBATE??? all started to pour in since February. What's more is they like to replace my class or have all those "activities" all on FRIDAYS!!! At first when I saw my timetable I was so happy cause I don't have class on Fridays. Now almost all the Fridays are being taken up by all the lecturers. I have to go on Fridays... CRAP!!! Anyway, this is how to problem began.<div><br /></div><div>Now every Friday we will have classes or quiz. So usually the time will be like until 3 or 4pm. After that, we will be planning where to go to release our tension caused by the quiz earlier. We usually ended up in 1U for the past few weeks. Went bowling. So we were always there and will be there until quite late. We guys like to 8 a lot too. LOL! So after bowling usually we will be 8-ing and 8 till very late already then only we will go home. So whole Friday night gone. HEHE</div><div><br /></div><div>Then this few weeks we changed activity cause bowling hor... The price increased. So we changed to CC! Dota or CS. So been there for few times d. Play till late at night only we slowly go home. However, it's quite fun la... HAHAHA...</div><div><br /></div><div>Now, my work deteriorate a lot!!! And this sucks. Not because I am kiasu or what. It's thank to the scholarship I am holding. I have to maintain it. Now my average score for all quiz was like below par. I know I can still do better if and only if I had studied more. I shouldn't have bought 20 DVDs and started watching it. LOL!! By the way, Red Cliff 2 is not as good as Red Cliff 1. House Bunny is annoying but yeah they are sexy. Ok back to the topic. </div><div><br /></div><div>But it's not my fault you know! *grin* It's the stupid timetable. They shouldn't have arranged it everyday 8am - 4pm. They took away my afternoon nap. So I have to sleep at 6pm and I wake up at 8pm. After dinner will be 8.30pm. Then have to let the food digest. When online and chat till 10pm. Realise almost bed time again. So where's my time to study? Stupid timetable. Not my fault. LOL!!! </div><div><br /></div><div>This sem lagi best wan is they arranged my exam timetable in such a way that I have to be here for the whole 3 exam weeks and it clashes with WESAK day... I WON'T BE ABLE TO GO BACK TO PENANG!!!! CRAP THOSE BITCH AGAIN!!!</div><div><br /></div><div>Whatever la. Been up at 8.40am today... Dunno why can't sleep. Go watch another movie. </div><div><br /></div><div>-off-</div><div><br /></div><div>ps. eh... next week CC again? LOL!!</div>Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-8773328591018186242009-02-28T21:24:00.004+08:002009-02-28T22:51:13.572+08:00English or WHAT?For those who are still living in the cave, this issue had been going on for like years already. They still couldn't come to a compromise or I should say they still couldn't accept that Math and Science should be taught in ENGLISH!!! Few days back, I read an article from the newspaper saying that teachers gone crazy teaching Math and Science in English. I was like... HMLC?<div><br /></div><div>First of all, why am I saying Math and Science should be taught in English? Simple! English is an INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE (or at least internationally recognise as international language). People are trying to learn it like mad so that they can communicate with the other people from other country. English is a common medium in meetings and conferences. However, we still fail to acknowledge this point. I wonder why they still think that Malay is so important that they must do everything in Malay. Seriously, it is not that I disgrace Malay or what. I mean we have to look at the correct thing what. We Malaysian still respect Malay as our National Language. However we can not expect other people from other country to learn our language so that they can trade with us. Honestly, we are not a "so" developed country that the world will stop without trading with us. There are cheaper labour than us. There are better quality materials from other country. This is undeniable! However we still fail to see this. WE CAN NOT FORCE OHTER PEOPLE OF OTHER COUNTRY TO BE LOYAL TO OUR COUNTRY! WE CAN NOT INSTILL PATRIOTISM IN THEM!!! They are loyal to their own country. Just like your are loyal to your spouse and you don't want anyone to be loyal to yours! </div><div><br /></div><div>Look at China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Their people are trying hard to take up English although they find it hard to learn. This is because, they realise that with good command of English they will be able to go far in whatever field they are doing. We are not a strong country yet. I am not saying we will not be strong but we are just not as strong as US and Europe YET! They are the one making the big decision, we are still depending on them on a lot of things. Why should they compromise with us? We have to compromise with them so that they will continue to trade with us. By depending on ASEAN only we will not progress. Look at Singapore, they have adopted English as their first language but still they try hard to make sure their people still learn up their mother tongue. Today, Singapore is why beyond us. Such as small country without natural resources yet they are progressing in godspeed. </div><div><br /></div><div>I mean English is getting more and more important. Few weeks back, when I was attending a lecture, the lecturer was late so we were chatting and suddenly the Chief of Department of Students' Affair came in and start shouting at us. </div><div>" YOU PEOPLE MUST START CONVERSING IN ENGLISH! PEOPLE OUT THERE ARE CONDEMNING UTAR STUDENTS ARE SMART BUT THEY SUCK IN ENGLISH! THEY CAN'T UNDERSTAND SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS! HOW TO HIRE THEM?? "</div><div>No hard feelings to those who are poor in english. I know you people are trying. However I don't mean that she's right shouting at us cause we have our right to use whatever language we like when we are chatting. Nevertheless, we should improve in our English. It's true that if we can't understand simple instruction, who is going to hire us. No matter how precious or how glorious how much we can earn as an Actuary, if we can't understand simple instruction then who cares who you are? Your cert is like piece of paper which you might consider using it as toilet paper. </div><div><br /></div><div>Of course I am not showing off or what, I am proud when my friends look up at me when I am able to converse in good english. I am proud that my interviewer praised me during the interview. As you can see, being able to converse in good (not to say perfect) english, we have a privillage. HOW? We can negotiate better and we can present ourselves better especially towards our superior. Honestly, in order to have this good command of english, I spent 7 years in "torture chamber". I exchanged today's success with my tears. I went from speaking full of broken english to commanding respectful english. Of course, during those 7 years, I told myself, you bloody bitch I will remember you for life for torturing me like this. Of course I kept my promise that I still remember her but not as a bitch now. She is the one who drill me into speaking good english, not flawless though. She is the one who made me able to write the english I am writing now. *there are mistakes of course*. She is also the one who enable me to watch english movies without reading the subtitles. ( I know many people can't do that. My mom can't too. ^^) </div><div><br /></div><div>However today, I am still able to converse in Malay, Mandarin and some dialects. It doesn't mean that the day I started speaking english will be the day I start to forget about my root. I am a Malaysian, I speak Malay. I am a Chinese, I will speak Mandarin and my own dialect. That's why when I am in school or in university, I speak in Hokkien with my fellow Penangites. I converse in Mandarin with the rest. I speak in english when I am speaking with the authorities and my lecturers and those who don't understand Mandarin of course. I uses Malay with the malays I meet outside cause there aren't many malays in my campus.</div><div><br /></div><div>Conclusion? LEARN UP YOUR ENGLISH FOR YOUR OWN FUTURE! Today, we still have to converse in English. Wait till the day when people have to look to Malaysia and seek help from Malaysia as they did to US, then we can forget bout English for this is the time they have to learn our language. </div><div><br /></div><div>ps. those noob shit who went nuts teaching math and science are just pure noob shits who don't even qualified to be in the teaching profession! The problem of teaching math and science in english doesn't lie on the student for we can suit ourselves. The problem lies with the useless bargers thinking they are so qualified that they can't teach in english. </div>Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-11723836335715066422009-02-21T00:51:00.002+08:002009-02-21T01:02:30.143+08:00OKUWell, I don't know why, last friday after meal with Wilson them in Kam Seng... When Wilson was dropping me and Wei Wei home, I had a headache. So when I reach home and bathed I immediately went to bed. I woke up the next morning with SERIOUS headache and I can't do a single thing that day so I just watch and watch and watch TV lor. Then on Sunday I lost my ability to taste already (not so serious la! Half of my tongue can't taste nia ma...). Then I thought maybe is my headache. On monday, the headache went to its peak and I literally can't do a single thing. So I just online and I called my sister later. She advice me on panadol. On Tuesday the pain was not that great already but I went high high tei... That was what Rachel said... Then that night my face starts to slow down already. Called my sister again, and she say might be Bell's Palsy and asked me to take other medicine which cost me RM50. WTF?? True enough what ever she described happened on Wednesday, half of my face will not be able to move... So now my face is NOT moving... LOL!!! It look so funny now, especially when I laugh... CIEW lay still can say cool wor... LOL!!!<div><br /></div><div>By the way, I watched too much tv d and I tried becoming myth buster on wednesday. I used to see those show or drama where the actor or actress lost their ability to taste and they don't feel a single thing when they eat spicy food. HONESTLY THIS IS A BLOODY BUSTED MYTH!!! I took cili padi and I almost cried! KNN!!!</div><div><br /></div><div>So nothing d... I got nothing better to do actually, cause I have no idea what to write for my assignment now and waiting for someone to finish her assignment so that I can "refer" again... WAKAKAKAKAKA....</div>Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-42344078629827681472009-02-14T16:15:00.002+08:002009-02-14T16:59:35.874+08:00On A Valentines' Day!So long no update... Blog also going to die already. LOL. Right, now update lor! Looking at the title of this post. I am sure it reminds those Linkin Park fans about the song Valentine Day. Of course those people out there. I am sure you are very aware that today is Valentines' day. Happy Valentines' day to all of you. For those who are single and sitting at home now reading my blog post. Gambateh! Next year you will not sit at home alone again. LOL. (Obviously I am one of those sitting at home la!)<div><br /></div><div>I believe those couples they have plans for today. However, my sister has a different plan! She I met up with her last week and she asked me to go valentine shopping with her for her boy friend. So I agreed. We went to Jusco in Ipoh, the one near Tesco. So she told me she had no idea what to buy. I tell her boy is very expensive wan. 1 gift can easily cost you hundreds if she plans to give him something good. However, there's another good side of giving guys gifts. A simple shirt will do. So she said ok and we went hunting for shirts. </div><div>This is what happened in the mall...</div><div><br /></div><div>Sis : Beh polo shirt la. Ee eh cheng khi cho kang ma...</div><div>Me: Cho kang beh hiao beh shirt ar?</div><div>Sis: Mai la, polo shirt kah ho, ee cheng white coat eh ma... (he's a doctor btw)</div><div>Me: Ok lor... Beh Nike lo... got standard ma...</div><div>(So we went to Royal Sporting House to get a NIKE polo)</div><div>Sis: Beh pai har! But aneh eh sek...</div><div>Me: Aiya... aneh seh keng eh tiam si aneh liao la... aboh ma khi NIKE eh tiam lo...</div><div>(So we went to NIKE)</div><div>Sis: MAH SI SIANG NIA!!!</div><div>Me: Aiya... NIKE si gina wear wan ma... mana wu lang wear NIKE khi cho kang eh... (well it never occured to her that it was my suggestion... LOL)</div><div>Me: Aboh ma khi Adidas lo... keh piak nia...</div><div>(So we went to Adidas)</div><div>Sis: Eh chi tiao beh pai... WAH! RM89.90!!!</div><div>Me: Si aneh liao la...</div><div>Sis: Chi tiao beh pai liao la... ok la!</div><div>Me: Ai khi khua Timberland boh? tui bin nia...</div><div>Sis: Ai meh?</div><div>Me: KIA LA!!!</div><div>So we went over to Timberland...</div><div>Me: Oiseh! Timberland lo... Nah chi tiao ma eh lo...</div><div>Sis: Kui lui?</div><div>Me: sa pak...</div><div>Sis: LU SIAO AR?? mang kong sa pak la!!! Chi tiao mana eh cheng khi cho kang? </div><div>*that polo shirt actually looks kinda like er... for casual wear... hahaha...</div><div>Me: But Timberland heng ma... US heng tiao leh... NIKE in US kana Bata aneh... LOL</div><div>Sis: MAI LA!!! TUI KHI ADIDAS!</div><div>So we went back to Adidas...</div><div><div>Sis: Eh? hami su chi tiao kah chi tia siang eh but boh discount wan?</div><div>Me: *holding the two polo shirts* lu gim khua... chi tiao kah khin, wu nylon kah cheh kah pan gee... chi tiao kah tang, boh aneh cheh nylon, kah kui lor!</div><div>Sis: Wu aneh eh meh? Liao hami kah ho ar?</div><div>Me: Cho kang tia tiok si cheng cotton kah ho ma...</div><div>Sis: Ok lo... </div><div>So she finally bought that shirt for him... Cost her RM89.90... AND SHE USED ME CARD and yet to pay me back! </div><div><br /></div><div>After that we went to have lunch in Kenny Roger's (POH TATT!!! I GET TO EAT KENNY ROGER's LIAO!!! but you still owe me 1 chicken...) There she told me she's going back to Penang on weekend (means 13-15 Feb lo). At first I still stupid stupid say... oh oh... Then she ask me want to go out and eat with him meh? Sure very expensive that day... Well of course it will not surprise me that restaurants will come out with some stupid valentines' special sets for that night and chop the guys with big big axe. So I told her he definitely will give you something expensive. (He gave her a watch and a ring worth up to 500 already prior to Valentines' Day) So I tell her if you want to save money... Cook for him. Knowing very well that I am a better cook than my sis, she will definitely say NO! However, things are different now, her reply was... What to cook ar? ZA DAO!!! Well since I was eating potato salad that time, I told her potato salad. HAHAHAHA... She then say potato salad for the whole dinner?? SIAO MEH?! So I suggested her making some western food lor.. Fish n Chips is the easiest. She say mana boleh? So I told her... Just go and get those ready made in supermarket, go back fry yourself and arrange nicely... Add in my special tartar sauce... TADA!!! Well she just ok ok... Whether she really go and do it I don't know...</div><div><br /></div><div>However... Later that night, I suddenly realise... WHAT THE HELL!!! SHE WILL BE BACK IN PENANG FOR THE WEEKEND!!! VALENTINES' DAY IS ON SATURDAY!!!! At first I thought she gonna finally bring him home. Manatau... She say... "I am not celebrating Valentines' Day, so ma can go back lo..." Wah! left her boy friend alone in Taiping and she went home already. Just talk to her this morning... Crazy girl. She say she celebrate earlier already. I asked her how she celebrate it, she die also don't wanna tell me. So I can't do anything also since I am in PJ now. This year's valentines' day going to date guys d... lol... So many people are single these days.. I go online I see all the single people online and those couples are offline... Except Wilson and Stery. LOL </div><div><br /></div><div>Anyway... Have fun for all those couples and Mun Cheng... Just let them be and we go and listen to Dance Floor Anthem... </div><div>Everybody! Put up your hands and say I don't wanna be in love, I don't wanna be in love! </div><div>HAHAHAHAHA...</div></div><div><br /></div><div>-siging off for now-</div>Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-23111726418092823882009-01-19T20:31:00.002+08:002009-01-19T21:14:45.780+08:00Critical Thinking With Morality ArgumentToday was a very slow day for me, I mean I went to lecture at 10 am then slowly dragged till 4 pm where I had my Critical Thinking and Reading Tutorial. During the tutorial, my lecturer gave us a piece of paper where there's a situation given and we are suppose to discuss and present. That is the part where my day got interesting. <div><br /></div><div>The question was like this<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;">, " A local plane (the question actually stated which company!!) was flying back to Malaysia and suddenly it had engine failure and crashed into a shark-infested ocean. There is an undamaged raft which can hold 7 people, but there are 11 of them clinging to the raft. You are given the choice to pick 7 of them so that they survive. Who will you pick and why?</span> "</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">1. A, 20. An extremely brilliant medical student and the only child of a fisherman. Was rushing home to see his dying father.</span></div><div>2. B, 23. A famous and beautiful popstar. Was on her way to give a charity performance in KL. Earns millions of dollars a year and donates most of it to charity. Is suffering from leukemia and expected to live for only another 3 years.</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">3. C, 49. A successful import-export merchant suspected of being a smuggler. Owns a fleet of boats. Knows the area of the crash very well. An extremely cheerful and friendly person.</span></div><div>4. D, 56. A retired Navy Commander. Sustained serious injuries during the crash. The only person in the group with long experience in navigation. Was on his way to Malaysia for his daughter's wedding.</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">5. E, 36. A specialist in tropical diseases. Has carried out extensive research on dengue fever and is on the verge of finding a cure for the disease.</span></div><div>6. F, 22. A former Miss Malaysia and tourist ambassador to several countries before becoming an air hostess. Is engaged to be married to a Sabah timber tycoon.</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">7. G, 29. The youngest cabinet minister in Malaysia. Has great appeal and influence on Malaysian youth. Has done much to awaken political and national consciousness among them. Is presently being secretly investigated by his government for alleged corruption.</span></div><div>8. H, 41. An oil-drilling expert who has just attended an international oil conference. Is carrying important oil-mining documents that indicate that there is a possibility Malaysian waters have a huge oil deposit. Has a contract to train Malaysians in oil drilling.</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">9. J, 49. Was returning home from a successful heart operation made possible by the money raised for him by his only daughter, a primary school teacher. A compulsive gambler.</span></div><div>10. K, 32. A political exile. Has written many articles in international magazines, criticising his government's politics. Speaks and writes 8 languages fluently.</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">11. L, 16. A schoolgirl. Was returning home from Hawaii where she was Malaysia's representative at a Girl Guides Jamboree. Very active in social work, church and youth activities.</span></div><div><br /></div><div>So the above are the 11 people whom we are suppose to select 7 to rescue. Basically there is no right or wrong on who you pick but the are some that we are definitely letting them go. For instance no. 9. I mean he has no contribution, the only person who are going to mourn for his death will be his daughter. Moreover, he is a compulsive gambler, only Genting will feel the lost. Which everyone actually agreed that we let him DIE!! (LOL)</div><div><br /></div><div>Of course different people have different opinion. Personally, I would let 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 and 11 live. * Wait, there are 7 people that we can save, why you pick 6 only?* Simple, because these 6 people, to me, are the most important people that we should safe, the other 1, it can just be anyone. Now let me explain why do I choose these 6 people.</div><div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">1 - He is a medical student. Malaysia is in need of doctors. Every year we are producing hundreds and thousands of doctors and yet we are still lack of doctors. I wonder why? However since he is a medical student, he is one of those going to be needed.</span></div><div>2 - She's beautiful! I actually said that during the presentation. Of course there's another reason for me to pick her. She does charity. She is donating the money by hundreds of thousand dollar. You might argue that she may not be that generous if she can live longer, or you might argue that after all she's dying why safe her? Easy, nobody has ever confirmed that LEUKEMIA is incurable. She might just POP! Yay I'm cured! Right and being a popstar, her managing company will definitely arrange for charity show for her as publicity. So no harm saving her. If she really dies, at least we already raked in few million dollars.</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">3 - He OWNS and KNOW where his boats are. WE definitely need him. However he is a smuggler. Who cares? He can't run far, we can catch him later. Let's safe ourselves first.</span></div><div>4 - I'll let him die cause sharks are after the blood not us. So if he is thrown into the sea the sharks goes to him, that buys us some time to get onto the raft. </div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">5 - He lives thanks to his research. A lot of people had been dying of these tropical disease. Since he is going to find a cure then why not we safe him so that he can safe other people?</span></div><div>6 - Personally I felt that she has done nothing good to us. That's all.</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">7 - Again, this guys is a politician. If he is clear from corruption I will definitely safe him. However, being suspected of corruption, I bet that is a set up so no point saving him. He'll be dead meat anyway.</span></div><div>8 - This is the lucky guy. I had to pick 7 people and I picked 6. So after eliminating the other 4, he is the only one standing. So there he is, SAVE! Well I had some of them arguing that he knows these oil drilling thing and can bring economical opportunity to our country. Seriously, what we need is not drilling more oil to gain more profit! What we actually need is to filter and process our own oil! We are selling cheap crude oil to other country so that they can process it and sell it back to us at higher price! Where's the gain?? DUH!</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">9 - This guy should go and feed the shark and let us have more sharks' fin.</span></div><div>10 - He speaks 8 languages, so in case we got on to land before that no.3 finds hi boat, he might be in good use. </div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 0, 51);">11 - She's in her sweet 16!! She still got hope. She had to live. </span></div><div><br /></div><div>Alright, I bet most of you have different ideas. You can have your own argument with your friends. You can fight till he or she says you win or you can do anything you like. Just let me tell you 1 thing. I don't think they are going to survive. Theoretically, the plane crashed into the shark infested ocean, so the plane will sink! So people had to get out before the plane sink or else there wouldn't be a chance to survive at all. So with all those injured people especially our no. 4, there would be blood everywhere. Sharks!!! Sharks are attracted to blood. So before they can get into the raft. All of them would had been eaten by shark. </div><div><br /></div><div>Conclusion! No survivors. No need to crack your head. LOL!!!</div><div><br /></div><div>-off-</div><div><br /></div><div>ps. really KHIAM TIOK PHAK post...</div>Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-39994989672009364342009-01-14T19:36:00.003+08:002009-01-14T21:15:06.655+08:00Hanoi, Vietnam - City of MOTORCYCLES!!!Hi everyone! Back in action again. Been quite busy after starting my new semester. Busy paying moneys though I don't have to pay the tuition fees. Some of you know why. For those who don't I won't be boasting here. (Actually I am boasting already. LOLZ.) Never mind bout that. So this post is mainly on my trip to Hanoi, Vietnam, thanks to my sponsor Ms. Su Zhen aka my sister. Its a full expense paid trip there. Woo hoo~~ Actually she sponsored the whole family la. Hehe... It was a 4 days 3 nights trip there but it felt like 5 days 5 nights trip. <div><br /></div><div>Why do I say so? Caused I drove down the night before to KL so that I can fly from there 6am in the morning the next day. so thats night 1. Funny thing is the day before my friend Tai Kar Cheh aka Steady called me and tell me she's coming to Penang and asked if I was free. Guess what? She's from KL!!! LOL. So I told her... FOR THE WHOLE LONG HOLIDAYS! YOU COME ON THE DAY I AM GOING TO KL?!?! So I didn't meet her in Penang. Never mind bout that. So I drove all the way from Ipoh to KL while my dad drove from Penang to Ipoh of course. I was kinda high that time. I can still sing and vrooooooommmmmm at 4am... LOL... Any other days I would most probably be zzzzzzzzz.... So when we got to KL we went for some early breakfast in mamak and took an airport taxi to LCCT. Crappy place if you know what I mean. So paid everything and flew off to Vietnam at 6am sharp! Amazing Air Asia wasn't late. LOLz. BTW CURSE THOSE BLOODY VIETNAMESE WHO DOESN'T KNOW THAT THEY HAVE TO SWITH THE BLOODY PHONE OFF IN THE PLANE!!!</div><div><br /></div><div>Never mind. So we reached there on schedule ie 10am and my sis and her friend went out first to look for a cab to take us to the hotel. Well I dunno how the communicate. She say BIG CAR for FIVE people and he say OK! The result is... 15 USD to hotel in a Hyundai 5 seaters. Its for 5 people but who's driving then? Of course he forgot bout himself la! Crazy guy. So never mind we put our luggage in the boot and ready to go. I thought Hanoi is a big place so should be good. Well it's not wrong that it's a big place. It has RIDICULOUSLY MUCH (I had to use much cause it's uncountable) MOTORCYCLES there. The best is yet to come. It's not like we are from a better developed country that we had never seen that many motorbikes BUT the way the ride and the way they drive! The horns really sounds like trumpets and their traffic is like an orchestra full of trumpets! They don't care what is in front of them, as long as it's in their way they will honk till it moves for them. Well besides the honks! The bikes are like bloody hell you get out of my way or I will knock you down with my 2 wheeler. So screw the traffic minister! </div><div><br /></div><div>After like about 1 hour of driving we finally made it to the town centre where MORE bikes are to be seen. Now here comes the best! The driver, despite of the address being given, GOT FREAKING LOST! He didn't know where the hell out hotel is! I mean there are surprisingly many hotels there but hello. You are a vietnamese driving a cab and you don't know where out hotel is? So after more time of circling the town. He finally asked a lot of people and he found it! Well the hotel was good. The manager was good. We got lotsa free things from him. *will tell you what later*. There he starts to promote different cruise for us to visit Ha Long Bay. Of course he is trying to be nice buy giving us discount of a few BUCKS! It's okay with us. After booking the cruise we went out for typical Vietnamese food. Well the taste was like flat. I mean if it's sweet then sweet it is you get. Not like here we have sweet and sour or what sweet sour spicy. However, personally, I think it's not bad but of course Penang hawkers are way better than them. After that we went back to the hotel to get some rest cause I haven't been sleeping for 24 hours d. </div><div><br /></div><div>After the nap we went out for their famous WATER PUPPET SHOW. Well at first I thought wow! Hoseh liao! Canggih lo! Then went in and there are some pretty girls there playing their traditional musical instruments. Then later the show started with puppets being played on the water! I thought okay... At least that's something new to me. So as the show went on, I tried to get and understand the whole story. While I was still blur bout the story, THE FREAKING SHOW ENDED! Crappy! But then later I found out that, there weren't any story at all!!! Shit la. Wasted my brain cell trying to figure out what story they are trying to tell. LOLZ... Then of course after the show we went back to the hotel and rested for the Ha Long Bay trip on the following day.</div><div><br /></div><div>Woke up at round 8am and prepared for Ha Long Bay. BTW. Did I mention the damn weather was like 15 degree there? So my whole family thought we should wear a sweater. AND GDI it was not cold at all! So I took out the sweater on our 3 hours journey to Ha Long Bay. When we were half way there, the bus driver stopped at some handcraft making factory for us to rest and of course shop for souvenirs. The things over there are like bull shit kinda expensive! Mei! Your wooden doll cost freaky 4 USD there and those Magnets are like 3USD! My jaw dropped and screw the souvenirs. LOLs. Of course after that we continued our journey to Ha Long Bay. Not forgetting there are like 10 other ang mors there with us. </div><div><br /></div><div>Upon arrival there, we were greeted with a smile by the captain and then we were brought to our cruise! There we had out lunch. They arranged us 6 into a table so of course my family got a table to ourselves and 1 more ang mor joint us. He's Pascal from Luxembourg. The others are seated on other tables lo. So the dishes came one by one, Asian food, starting with prawns, fish and so on. While me and my family are happily enjoying those seafood. We realised that the ang mor wasn't eating that happy like we did. My mom asked him why and to our horror! HE DOESN'T EAT FISH FOR THE MOST LUNATIC REASON I HAVE EVER HEARD OF! Pascal : we had never seen fish! The fish we eat are FISH STICKS! I was like harlo, you know what fish is? Then of course after he slowly explained, he was staying somewhere that is very far from the sea not like me surrounded by sea. So they don't eat much seafood there. We were like ok, so we eat! LOL! </div><div><br /></div><div>After the food we rested for like 30 minutes before the ship finally reached Ha Long Bay and we were brought to some caves namely the Amazing Cave. Nothing much to see there. It's just that those ang mor had never seen lime stones before. Then after the hiking came the most interesting part I have been waiting for! KAYAKING!!! My dad decided not to go kayaking so me and mom went on 1 while my sis and her friend got on the other. So at first I was a bit nervous cause that my first time kayaking. So was my mom. So she was like... AH ZHI!!! ROW WHICH SIDE? RIGHT OR LEFT?? Well after some shouting and worrying. I finally made a right call. Ma... you sit there and enjoy the sceneries ok? Let me do the rowing. So I was rowing alone! Lol. While turning my head to look at my sister, SHE WASN'T ROWING TOO!!! Man what a hilarious moment. Of course being lack of experience means water coming into the kayak and wet my pants and of course some minor collisions with my sister's kayak. It was fun! Upon returning. Something better happened! 2 ang mors fell into the sea while trying to get out of the kayak!!! LOL!</div><div><br /></div><div>So that was basically what we did in Ha Long Bay. At night the temperature fell to 10 degrees but I still cover myself with everything that I had and went up to the sun deck and see stars. Well not for long before the wind starts to blow and I think my face starts to freeze. So I went back to my room. I shared room with a ang mor. That ang mor is the very ang mor that sat with us for lunch. Actually I was kinda disappointed. There was another ang mor from US. Quite pretty. She get to stay alone! I thought hell yeah I gotta stay with an ang mor girl! What the hell it turns out to be an ang mor kia. LOL! What to do? So not for long before I fell asleep and the following day (my birthday) was greeted with lotsa wishes and some songs at 3am played by the ang mor!!! CRAP! WHY WASN'T HIM SLEEPING??? ARGH!!!</div><div><br /></div><div>So never got a real sleep that night. After breakfast we were brought back to the bay and off we were going back to Hanoi. Went we got back to Hanoi, I was happily chatting with my friends over the msn while posting thank you's to all those who remembered my birthday. TO THOSE WHO FORGOT!!! It's okay... Oh yeah! Thanks Meng Khim for inviting me to celebrate for me. I wasn't in Penang. Maybe some other time. OK! Back to the story. Then my creepy sister come to me and tell me. Eh, I wanna go pharmacy buy some lip dunno what, you don't simply run away. I was like ok... Then as far as I know, the pharmacy is just round the corner of my hotel. She went for like hours! Then went she came back with her friend, both of them were smiling like they had done something HOLY! I was looking at their funny faces and starts to wonder what's happening. Only did I realised that they walked like half an hour to a cake shop to get me a cake for my birthday! LOL! AND IT'S BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE! (but not from secret recipe). So surprising. I mean it's in Vietnam you know? Who would think that she will go looking for cakes in HANOI?? But I don't get to eat those cakes. Sorry.</div><div><br /></div><div>That night was kinda high again for me. Was waiting for her cause she say she wanna bring me for ice cream. So again I was online and kept waiting for her. Finally at 1 am I gave up and go up and see what's going on. When I got back to the room. BLOODY HELL!!! She was sleeping like a pig d! Damn! So I thought I should wait for her to eat that cake and I slept like a pig too! </div><div><br /></div><div>The following day, we went down for our breakfast. As I said the manager was good! The menu there says that, Toast with Egg (fried or omelette) or Toast with Butter and Jam or Vietnamese Chicken soup Noodle. Well in the end we had all but no extra charges. Oh yeah. Not forgetting to mention breakfast was included in the room rate. The room rate was 25 USD for 3 ppl. Frankly speaking, with those type of service, they can definitely charge more! However, it's better if they keep it this way. LOL! So after breakfast we went out hunting for souvenirs. Along the way we saw a lot of stalls selling the same things. So we were like "that shop say 2 USD only??" Well after much bargaining, we didn't buy from them. My dad got scolded by a guy trying to sell him wallet! LOL! Then we went to the whole sellers place and started hunting again. Only then did I realised they are not really good in math despite of being Chinese descendants. As we were buying, we like bargain for more than 70% they went like NO! NO! NO! CANNOT! So some of the souvenirs we bought are kinda expensive but still cheap to us la. Then finally I used the final tactic! Rounding up! At first they tried to sell me 1 for 50k VND (Vietnam dong) then I say NO! 2 for 20k VND she was like in shock! So I know too low d. So I slowly raise to 40k VND still she didn't let go. Until finally I say nope I don't want it already, we can pay now. So the total was 250k VND so I tell her now let's make it 300k VND. I take 3 of this and we make it 300k VND. She goes like pressing the calculator and OK! LOL? It was lower then when I asked for 40k VND for 2. She is really... OOPS.</div><div><br /></div><div>So happy with our rewards, we slowly stroll back to the hotel and got ready to go home. At 4.30pm we took a cab to the airport and we flew at 7pm. Now seriously, I had a bloody stomach ache on the plane. So I went to the toilet and while I was doing my business, the plane got caught in air turbulence! Level III samore! I thought what the hell is the pilot doing? I am trying to SHIT here! Well after finishing my business I came out and found a place to sit. Then again the plane when shaking again and 1 Arabian woman starts to cry and shout like she was being raped by the seat belts! So all the crews went to comfort her and well she scream and shout and cried for like 30 minutes while deep in my heart I really feel like going there and punch her husband on his face for scolding her while she's still shouting! Damn! THE NOISE BOTH OF THEM MADE! I was caught in some kinda mild typhoon on my way to Hong Kong! The plane literally SHAKED like it had never shake before and was forced to stop in the middle of the air. I couldn't land and we can't go backwards. For me, that little shake was like me shaking during the countdown in gurney. LOL. So by 11pm we got back to Malaysia and we headed home straight from LCCT! </div><div><br /></div><div>It was an interesting journey. Had a lot of fun. My sister already promised other places when both of us has holidays again... Will be looking forward to DISNEY!!</div>Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-4242405648363486542009-01-01T02:20:00.002+08:002009-01-01T02:37:40.351+08:00Happy New Year 2009WOW! So fast another year had passed. So first of all, let me just apologize for what ever I had said and done that had accidentally hurt any of my friends or just anyone outside. I'm sorry I'm bad, I'm sorry I'm blue, I'm sorry bout all the things I said to you... Good! Enough of that already. Back to the present!<br /><br />I've just came back from Gurney Plaza celebrating the new year 2009 countdown. Actually I did not planned to go cause I was suppose to stay at home to look after my house. It was empty cause my parents when to Taiping already. I am HOME ALONE tonight! Oh yeah! It was drizzling too. So I thought maybe just grab a dinner with them and go home sleep d. Well, things don't turn out as it should be. They decided to follow me to my house to park near my house as my house is really near to Gurney Plaza (near as in my house - gurney, the actual walking distance not considered). However, when they got to my house. They decided to stand outside of my house unless I follow them to Gurney Plaza. So what to do? I went.<br /><br />The crowd wasn't as huge as last time, but still acceptable. When I got there I saw some lulu (male version or lala) got pulled aside by the rela's and one of them was crying and saying something like. I just got here, I did not do anything. Really LOL them la. We went straight to the party area and started to cheer and eventually Kuang Ze and I got high and started dancing like idiots there. But who cares? Some of our moves are stunning k? Well there's another girl got high also. That girl I knew was suppose to be a very good kid in front of her parents... (psst! Don't tell her I said that!) So after some 2 hours of high, the real countdown came and FIREWORKS!!! Pop pop pop pop pop.... After everything we were like suppose to be going to G hotel for some air cause Daph got a room there. But it didn't worked out as well. So we just sat outside and took some pictures. Many silly pictures and zhi pai was taken and then we just went home. Kinda like a blast this year but two year's ago's was definitely better. Minus the rowdy idiots who climbed on top of people's cars. But who cares?! My car is not there. LOLz.<br /><br />So now that I am back at home. I started to think what is my new year resolution? Up to now, I still haven't think of anything. So if you have any suggestions... You just drop it as comments. The lucky winner will get her suggestion as my new year resolution. Now must sleep d, later got a party at Meng Khim's house.<br /><br />-off-Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-90956518458782219222008-12-25T22:57:00.004+08:002008-12-25T23:47:13.396+08:00Can You?During the second day of the camp - Uncovering Potentials, Realising Dreams - I was suppose to give a talk on some kinda problems and suffering other people lived with and been through. It's something about poverty, homeless people, domestic violence, global warming and so on. So the speech is abit boring I thought cause I am suppose to be serious with the campers. Then after the speech we had a short Spiritual Walk and we come to an oath taking session. In this session we are suppose to promise ourselves that we will do our best to help all the people who are suffering around us.<br /><br />The whole thing went well, and to us it is very touching. I don't know whether I had achieve the goal of touching their hearts but the thing is definitely touching. After the whole session and I went into my dorm, one song suddenly struck my mind. It's Never Let Go by Bryan Adams. This song is actually dedicated to the great people of US Coast Guards. Well for those who watched Guardian you will know what I am talking about. The ending was really touching. Especially these scenes.<br /><br />The scene where Randall was holding on to Fischer on the air and the cable that holds them on is about to snap.<br /><br />Fischer : I WON'T LET GO!<br />Randall : I know...<br /><br />And Randall just opened his gloves and fell into the sea.<br /><br />*Tears are actually rolling in my eyes when this scene is playing.<br /><br />Another scene will be the very end part. Where Fischer just saved a man and they are in the helichopter.<br /><br />The man : Where is he?<br />Fischer : Who?<br />The man : The other guy! He said he won't let go!<br />Fischer looks out and he had found his answer of why Randalls body was never recovered.<br /><br />That wasn't as touching as the previous scene. However it's a pretty good ending.<br /><br />Come back to the song. The very first line of the song suits the whole oath taking session alot but I couldn't play it cause there wasn't any player there.<br /><br />Can you lay your life down, so a stranger could live.<br /><br />This line, this line is more than enough for us. Now while you are listening to this song, read through the lyrics and take some time to think. Can you be one of us. One of us who pledge to help others who deserved to be helped. Help those less fortunate people out there. Can we do that? Can we?<br /><br /><div align="center"><span style="font-family:arial;font-size:130%;"><strong>Never Let Go - Bryan Adams<br /></strong></span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">Can you lay your life down, so a stranger could live?</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">Can you take what you need, but take less than you give?<br />Could you close everyday, without the glory and fame?<br />Could you hold your head high, when no one knows your name?</span></div><div align="center"><br /><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">That's how legends are made, at least that's what they say.</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;"></span> </div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">We say goodbye, but never let go.<br />We live, we die, cause you can't save every soul.</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">Gotta take every chance to, show that you're the kinda man who;</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">Will never look back, never look down and never let go.</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;"></span> </div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">Can you lose everything, you ever had planned?</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">Can you sit down again, and play another hand?</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">Could you risk everything, for the chance to be alone?</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">Under pressure find the grace, or would you come undone?</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;"></span> </div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">That's how legends are made, at least that's what they say.</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;"></span> </div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">We say goodbye, but never let go.</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">We live, we die, cause you can't save every soul.<br />Gotta take every chance to, show that you're the kinda man who;<br />Will never look back, never look down and never let go.</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;"></span> </div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">Gotta take every chance to, show that you're the kinda man who;</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">Will never look back, never look down and never let go.</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;"></span> </div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">We say goodbye, but never let go.<br />We live, we die, cause you can't save every soul.</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">Gotta take every chance to, show that you're the kinda man who;</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">Will never look back, never look down and never let go.</span></div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;"></span> </div><div align="center"><span style="font-family:verdana;"><span style="font-family:trebuchet ms;color:#000066;">Will never look back, never look down and never let go.</span><br /></span> </div><div align="center"> </div><div align="left">After listening to this song, and if you say yes to all the questions asked in this song. Having last minute prep for camps with my friends. Though I told them not to do last minute work but somehow we just can't change the fact that we are better off with last minute work. LOL. So we had a really last minute meeting like 2 days before the camp starts and had them prepare for our own style of Amazing Race and games and Spiritual Walk. Then I left for Taiping and came back the following day. Got a call from Kuang Ze (the real chairman for the camp) at 10 pm with a really last minute request.<br /><br />KZ : Eh Robert ar, lu tonight wu lai temple boh? (Robert, are you coming to the temple tonite?)<br />TZ : Boh lar, mia cai kah khi. (Nope, I'll go tomorrow.)<br />KZ : Lu mia cai kui tiam eh lai? (What time can you come tomorrow?)<br />TZ : Lu ai wa kui tiam lai? (What time you want me to be there?)<br />KZ : Peh tiam eh boh? (8 am can?)<br />TZ : BEH LA! Before chap tiam la... Wa sure gau wan... (Can't la! Before 10 am, I sure reach wan.)<br />KZ : Sure har? Lu tomorrow ai prepare opening speech cai boh? (Sure har? You have to prepare for opening speech tomorrow, you know bout that?<br />TZ : (I was like... err...) OK la, cai liao cai liao... Wa later khi prepare... (Ok la, I get it already, I'll prepare it later.)<br />KZ : Ok ok, mia cai mang late har. (Ok, tomorrow don't be late.)<br /><br />So I continued watching tv till it was like 11pm and starts to think what am I going to say on the opening of the camp? I switch the tv off and went online hoping I can get inspiration and tng tng! Ah lian ee is online, ju siao with her n see. Hahahaha. Chatted for quite sometime for the points and she went off. Still trying to put things together... tng tng... Jane came online. Ah ha! Another help came just in time. Hahahaha... So we discussed again for some time and she decided to hit the lights off. A very greatful thank you to both of you. If you want to know what is the speech like, stay tuned for the next part of this title.<br /><br />I need to sleep more... Been up taking care of the cheeky campers till 4am yesterday.Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-43570908243151446282008-11-27T03:13:00.003+08:002008-11-27T04:02:29.872+08:00Yet Another "Wise" Decision...<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: x-small;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">WARNING... This Blog Post is DEFINITELY NOT for fanatics such as those in you know what la... Just in case you want to sue me... I don't have anything to pay so don't bother doing so.</span></span><div>-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</div><div><br /></div><div>Recently this has been up on the headline for like two days already. Yoga was BANNED! Not to all but to certain group of people only. I don't know why but these people seems to create most of the noise. Especially during parliament meetings. They are the one making racist remarks and yet they accuse people of making racist remarks. What are they trying to imply? Is it that they are the only race, therefore any remark regarding them is classified as racist remark while the rest are not considered race so those remarks made are not racist remarks? Up to you to decide.</div><div><br /></div><div>Never mind about that, it is still a long time before Malaysia can reach High Tech Nation if they are still fighting over who perli-ed who and why chinese are "pendatang". Eh MAHATIR! Your 2020 vision is not coming true. 11 more years but it seems we are not "ready" for it yet. I think we do stand a chance in 200200. Alright, let's get back to the main topic. Yoga. I wonder how did they come about making this decision. It seems the main reason is that Yoga has some religious influences in it. It is said to be some Hindu-Buddhist teaching is preached when learning yoga. To what extend this statement is true, I'll leave it for you to judge. However, before you make any decision, let me share some Yoga experience of mine with you.</div><div><br /></div><div>First of all, let me describe my size. I'm 189 cm tall, weighing at almost 90Kg, you can imagine the tummy I have. All my friends know that I am not FIT at all. So by perception, I think I can't bend my body. But I can! To certain extend of course. I can't bend my body to allow my head to touch my knees while my legs are straight. (LOL). I first practiced yoga when I joined some novitiate programme back in 2003, 2005 and 2007. My mentor said yoga can help us stretch our body so that during our meditation session we can sit longer without experience pain on our legs and our back. So he taught us a set of yoga call "Worshiping The Sun". Not a very hard routine and also not a simple routine. I can do all the postures except one where I have to bend down forming a triangle with the floor. My feet just won't touch the ground. Never mind about that, I cheated my way through that. I actually enjoyed that because after doing that you really can feel the difference in your body. So I do think yoga helps.</div><div><br /></div><div>Now here comes the question. In Buddhism, we actually don't worship any god or any human being. The Buddha (the statue you see in temples especially the famous one in Thailand - The reclining Buddha) is just our teacher. We pay respect to him for what he have been through and for what he had taught us. We do not worship him like idol worshiping. Therefore we are flexible for He said, " Come and see, if you think this benefits you, then practice it." In a general way of explaining this will be - practice whatever that you think is good for you and whatever that helps you to attain Nibbana (ever lasting peace). So we just learn whatever that helps us. We do not practice or learn anything blindly. So Yoga to us is just a way to help us. At least for me it is. I have never ever thought that yoga has religious elements in it. Who cares what "Worshiping The Sun" is for or really do we worship the sun? All I did when I was doing the posture is trying to ease my pain. Where got time to think about other things?</div><div><br /></div><div>Well another reason I heard from my mom (she practices yoga regularly, I don't) was there is this meditation session included in the whole routine. (So there are other routines!!!) She thinks that this might be the cause that those people consider it a religious element. Well to me meditation is not a word solely for Buddhism. I believe other religion also have their set of meditation. They do meditate! Just that the ways are different. We believe in concentrating on certain things to realise impermanence, non-self and suffering. While Christians of course have their which I do not know what they contemplate on. As for muslims, if I haven't remembered it wrongly, it is stated in my Form 4 History Text that Nabi Muhammad "bertapah" in some cave. So he did meditate after all. He meditated based on Allah's teaching. I meditate based on Buddha's teaching. Meditation is a very general term. It doesn't mean that you are a Buddhist if you meditate. It doesn't mean that you will be influence to be a Christian if you meditate. It sure doesn't make sense that you will become a Hindu follower if you practice yoga. </div><div><br /></div><div>Things are amazing. A 100ml cup filled up with 50 ml of water could be half full and at the same time it could be half empty. Why choose to look at things in a negative way? Why complain that the cup is half empty? Why not we rejoice that the cup is half full? Why think of so many ways to restrict people? Why punish yourself for the things you have not done? Why want to dig something up to make yourself suffer? Is it worth it to build walls around yourself to make sure you don't go out of it to make mistakes when you can have beautiful sceneries outside the walls? I wonder why this body is making so much noise. They should spend their time thinking how to make Malaysia a better place and how to make Malaysia achieve Developed Nation status.</div>Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-30504876479430674142008-11-23T20:34:00.002+08:002008-11-23T21:32:33.697+08:00Heroes - VILLAINSIt's been 3 seasons already only I posted something about heroes. Hee... Now it's already season 3. Many things have changed and it's only 9 episodes. FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN'T WATCH PLEASE LEAVE NOW OR BARE THE CONSEQUENCES OF SPOILERS YOURSELVES. <div><br /></div><div>Let's start with some recap on what happened the last two seasons...</div><div><br /></div><div>Season 1.</div><div>Our playground baddy aka Sylar lost is injured and lost his powers. (Hooray!) Our world savior - Peter Petrelli got red (literally) and was taken into the air by his brother, Nathan, and Ka-Boom! That's when everyone thought Nathan and Peter is dead. Our Sylar also died in the "Final Battle" so everyone was happy and smiling. :-) The End.</div><div><br /></div><div>Season 2.</div><div>Our dearest Peter is not dead! (For those who cried over his death, he's got spontaneous regeneration with him remember?) As for our senator, he survived of course, was healed and the show continued with a larger plot behind it. Somebody is behind all his power power thing. He is even worse than our Sylar. More people were killed for that. The Company, who invented a type of virus that could wipe out the entire world's population, was behind that? Or is it Adam Monroe, Hiro's childhood hero? (Actually Hiro's hero is Hiro himself.) Adam killed nearly half of the Company's Board of Directors and he wanted to release the virus. Of course, our Peter came into rescue again. He destroyed the virus and Hiro sent Adam to Kaito (Hiro's dad), in Kaito's coffin, under the ground. You're right, Kaito is dead. So after all this thing, Nathan decided to reveal the "secret" to the public. Just when he's about to say it... HE GOT SHOT TWICE AND DIED! The end. By the way, Sylar wasn't dead and he is still collecting his powers. </div><div><br /></div><div>Here comes season 3 (Updated till episode 9)</div><div>Now things starts to get confusing. Guess who shot Nathan? Jeng jeng jeng! PETER! Yeah. PETER from the future shot him. Why? The show started with a cute brunette holding a gun pointing at the future Peter. Of course Peter avoided the bullet and took the gun to return to present day to shoot Nathan. According to him, if Nathan hasn't announced the "secret", the world wouldn't turn bad. People are having powers! Anyone with the ability to buy it will have it. So, again, he has to stop it! Then things just go crazy with Sylar getting Claires power, and Sylar turns out to have the last name Petrelli. Yupz. He is Peter's brother. No wonder they share the same kind of power right? The can learn other people's power. Now our playground bully turns out to be a hero after all? For awhile at least. The show is still going remember? As for Peter, he was brought to the future by Peter (you know which Peter I am talking about) and he acquired Sylar's ability and the next thing you know, Sylar from a goody boy, griefs over his son's death, blew up Costa Verde. So this present Peter now turns out to be a villain! Oh no!!! As I say, the show is still going, and the story is as confusing as this blog post. Everything is screwed up. Whimpy Mohinder is now a monster! I love Tim Kring for that. As for Peter's role... Stupid Tim Kring.</div><div>ps. Elle Bishop - Kristen Bell is so cute. She got together with Sylar.<br /></div><div>That's some recap of what happened until today.<br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Personal Comment</div><div>Season 3 is damn confusing now. Heroes turn villains, villains turn heroes. However, one thing I am sure now is, the whole thing was caused by Peter's parents. They were fighting against each other. Many new abilities were introduced and of course there are recycles of abilities. </div><div><br /></div><div>The new heroes</div><div>1. Daphne aka Speedster aka Nemesis (Hiro calls her that). She can travel at the supersonic speed. Surprise! She is the only one besides those with the ability to control time and space to be able to walk free when Hiro freezes time. However she can't travel at supersonic speed during that time.</div><div>2. Knox. He turns peoples fear into his own strength and he uses it against you.</div><div>3. Flint. Human Flamethrower. That explains all.</div><div>4. Tracy. She is one of the Nikki series. Of course she is not Nikki but look exactly like her. She has the ability to turn things into ICE.</div><div>5. Arthur Petrelli. He can suck ability out of you and then acquires it. He took away all of Peter's abilities.</div><div><br /></div><div>Well, there are more to come. The new Sylar is even more YENG than the old one. Trust me on that.</div><div><br /></div><div>Till then. Next episode is on 24th Nov 2008.</div><div> </div>Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-89582369246833198802008-11-05T21:36:00.002+08:002008-11-05T22:09:35.922+08:00What has GAYS to do with Crime Rate? After reading Choya's post, it reminds me of the most recent ridiculous news. Gay party was raided in Midlands Park. For those who don't know where is it, IT'S the damn place where I stayed near to. Ahem! Not where I stay in ok? You might be wondering if Choya is straight or not but stop wondering whether I am. I am definitely STRAIGHT!! I have reactions towards girls ok.<div><br /></div><div>According to yesterday's news (The Star 4 Nov 2008), two massaging parlours was raided for organising gay parties. So all of the party goers were brought back to the police station and questioned. Now at first I thought ok, they are doing some funny actions in there. (Hint: they found condoms. Both used and unused) Oops... What are they doing eh? I think satays in Pulau Tikus Market is very nice. However, when I read the whole thing, I actually found out that it already had some related cases months ago. Whenever there are complaints on rising crime rate, there will be operations on raiding gay parties. Now, what is wrong with gays? Nothing. Just that gay party is not acceptable, it's just like sex parties. Nothing is wrong with sex but when you organise sex party then it's wrong. Get it??</div><div><br /></div><div>However, what has gay parties to do with our crime rate increasing? Do they rob or steal so that they can be gays? I don't think so. unless they don't have money to get some protection. Hee. Other than that I don't see reasons for them being related to crimes. So why waste energy on raiding this kinda things instead of patrolling the dark areas. However I prefer them to solve more cases such as murdering cases. For instance, the murder of Altantuya. I means come on, what are the police doing? Raiding gays?? So they are so useless to the fact that they can only deal with these harmless gays? This is sad! Few months back, a police station in Chow Kit Road in Kuala Lumpur was reported to have been shut down. When asked why, our famous Home Minister (who got demoted from Foreign Minister after his interview with BBC) explained that the place is too dangerous for the police officers. HOLY SHIT? Too dangerous for the police officers? Yeah, the samsengs there were very fierce lo! They will do anything to harm you lo! BULLSHIT! If the police officers are afraid of them, then who is there to protect the residents there? If those police officers are that useless, they shouldn't have been police officers, they should have switch jobs. I suggest them selling satays or Ramlee Burger. Well, that's what they do best isn't it? Danger free job.</div><div><br /></div><div>I wonder what is next. To what extend can our minister be so idiotic? Please! I hope they will understand this and hopefully they will replace those incompetent ministers. ANYWAY, congratulations to BARACK OBAMA. </div>Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-9192555204841364982008-11-03T16:03:00.004+08:002008-11-03T16:43:55.841+08:00IDIOTS FORMING GOVERNMENT?First of all, still remember our hottie Bollywood star?? DATUK Shah Ruk Khan? I still don't see a bloody reason form him to be presented with this award. Is this a sign that our award worth shit? That anyone can get Datukship? That one we will have to forgive "The Idiot" that maybe he "accidentally" put Shah Ruk Khan's name into the list. How about this. People who marries single mother gets RM1000? Now this is really mind boggling.<br /><br />Recently the CM of our beloved historical state suggested that those horny perverts who seriously in need of money should be paid when they marry some MILF there. I mean come on and wake up. If you think pedophile are sickos, the person who suggested this is neither healthy. First of all, we might be facing 2 problems now. More divorce cases and cheat cases. WHY??<br /><br />You see, usually when people are committed and the finally got married. It is suppose to be a sign of love or an accident happened. Nobody can force someone to marry and now they create the loop hole themselves. Government will give you money if you marry a single mother. So let's con the tax-payers money. How about I hire some 5 single mother, and then I open a match making firm. I encourage guys to participate in match making. Good then when they got married, I take 20% of the money the got from the gov. They can later split the balance and divorce 3 months later. Then the process repeats and I am making money. Well, this money is ang pau money - TAX FREE!!! Those boys (especially drug addicts and beggers) you are welcome to my firm. You'll get a few hundred ringgit everytime you sign your name in the registration counter for marriage.<br /><br />So this is why I call them stupid. The case above might not happen in real but part of it will happen. Which part? The drug addicts can actually marry and get the money to get more drugs. You might be thinking," Who wants to marry a drug addict?" How about another drug addict? They marry, give birth, divorce = single mom produced! Then they play pervertic games like wives switching and woo laa! Goverment pays for the drugs and the wives switching parties. Nice isn't it?<br /><br />Pretty stupid suggestiong, I wonder what will they come up with next? Dato Seri for those who filmed the opposition parties' member in nude? Or maybe Tun for the one who manage to sentence ARRRNNNU-ah? Or Compentiation for those who volunteer to plead guilty for politicians especially when they are involved in bombing pretty ladies? I wonder what's next.Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-3150534623018371152008-09-14T21:13:00.002+08:002008-09-14T22:49:15.880+08:00The Greatest Person... MomOh well. It's not mothers' day today but just that I got the idea from this Singaporean movie i watched just now. *psst.. my sister cried... I heard her sobbing in the cinema and when i turn n look... crap! her eyes are watery... Ok.. She would kill me if I elaborate on that. After all, no matter how much she loved and care for me, she's not my mother. HAHAHAHAHA! The movie I watched just now is Money (still) Not Enough. I thought it was suppose to be comedy but... who knows it turns out to be quite touching also.<div><br /></div><div>SYNOPSIS </div><div>Three siblings, eldest was abit dumb so he wasn't earning much. The second one was into property and living quite well at first. The youngest was into direct sales and earning some big bucks. Well it started with Three of the having dinner with their mother and then condemning the Singaporean government. Later the eldest brother then ask for some tips of getting money. So he ended up becoming a "MANYZER" for the sales line. Story went well that all of them were enjoying life with their money. Later slowly they got into trouble... (as usual la) So all of them went like penny-less. All of them went back and borrowed money from their mother. The mother of course gave everything to them. Without hesitating. Then one day the mother got alzimer disease. So the three brothers again held a meeting of what to do. First they decided to take turn taking care of her. Later they couldn't stand it anymore and well sent her to old folks home. When she got to know it she fell and was admitted into the hospital. During one emergency where the mother needed blood, the daughter of the second son got into accident and needed blood as well. (Movie rite?) Oh yeah! They are of the same blood type O-. So the hospital only have 2 packets but not enough for both. The wife of the second son when running towards the daughter and snatched the blood from the doctor. Oh well... As they were quarreling, the mother heard it and she pulled something out (it's needed to support her life), and passed away.</div><div><br /></div><div>You should watch the damn Movie! It will really make you go into deep thought and repent on the things you've done... </div><div><br /></div><div>Now, enter the main topic. Which is dedicated to my mom. Don't get me wrong. She's not dead yet. She just got back from a charity tour. Still bloody healthy that she can attend yoga class 2-3 times a week. On friday she called me to do a research for her from the internet on Chinese Medicine Courses. She wants to attend it. Details later.</div><div>(Sorry for those who experienced bad childhood caused by their mother.)</div><div><br /></div><div>I believe that most mothers are somehow the greatest person in their children's life. Well at least my mom is. Let me show it in a chronological form in our life. </div><div>1. Before you come to this world.</div><div>Well, scientifically, life starts when you're... made... It takes usually two months after you're being made for your mother to start to get to know that you're here! However, during the crucial two months, if you accidentally came out earlier, you already hurt your mom's heart. She had been waiting for you to come, but not in this form. She lost you. She would cry and mourn and everything to express or to relieve her pain of losing you! Well suppose you did not come out at that earlier. Your mom would have find out after 2 months. Don't mention how happy she was at that time, just think of what she had done before you have even come out to breath in this world. You watch tv? See those Mamil Gold? Anfa MAMA? She drank that to make sure you are healthy inside! Sometime you bloody fool you don't like certain food, you make her vomit it out! The days of her suiting into your life had already started long before you are here. Until the day you are ready to face the new world, she had to endure almost 24 hours of labour pain! Not to mention the pain during the time she was giving birth to you! Especially if you are someone who are born to be big like me! Do you know how much her vagina has to expand to allow you to come out? If you still can't go through that, 2 options, cesarean or cut the vagina. Either one would mean PAIN to her. Simple because it had to be done without anesthetics. She had suffered before you come to live in this world.</div><div><br /></div><div>2. Finally you pop into this world.</div><div>a. When you have no idea what is happening.</div><div>If you mom was lucky enough. She survived. Otherwise, the moment you take you first breath would have been her last breath. Let us not discuss on that or else the story ends here. Now that you are here, the time of your mom worrying for you has begun. When the doctor held you up and spank your ass. You mom felt the pain the same time as you cried. On the other hand, if you don't cry, she would be so worried that if you are alright? </div><div>Now slowly you are growing, mom tried to provide us with the best they can give. Go to the place where they place the milk powders. Look at the price. Bloody hell! The milk that was said to have dunno what DHA AHA SA CIA ACA SIA AIA whatever A la! It is suppose to help your brain cells connect together so that you can study better and become more intelligent. Did I mention the price was like RM60+ for a small can of it? Compared to those without A's its like 3 times more expensive. However the damn thing is out of stock. So just when we barely know anything, mom has already put everything they have on us. Well during my time there's no such thing with all the A's la. </div><div>b. (fast forward >> You are a cute little innocent kid now)</div><div>Yeah! Entering childhood! Play time! Most of us considered childhood are suppose to be play time. We enjoyed our times during childhood. Well not every moment. I remembered I don't get much toys because I am a boy so erm... My dad kinda had higher expectation on me. So not much toys. Oh come on! How can a child live without toys? Despite knowing my dad will be mad at her, my mom bought me toys. Oh well, he did got mad. Thinking of that time, it has become a laughing stock between me and mom. Hey, she sacrificed for this idiot here you know! Why would she do that? She loved you my dear, she loved you!</div><div>c. Teenage! Rebels READY!</div><div>During the period of our life, we are most rebellious. We don't care what they say, we want to have it our way! We will crap all they stupid things to make sure we get what we want or to save our ass. Went we run out of idea, we shouted back at her. Well sometimes she just kept quite and let us win. Knowing that she wouldn't be able to change our mind. However she still hope that we can change. In case of emergency, she would resort to hitting us. Ever heard of Newton's Third Law Of Motion? It's simple action and reaction. He said that when an object A acts on another object B with a force F. The force F will be reacted on the object B the moment it touches object A. In our case, if she used a cane. The same law will apply. Just that we felt the pain on our physical body, the pain reacted on her mentally. Mom scolded us because she cared for us. She beat us because she loved us!</div><div>d. Entering University</div><div>Holy crap! This time finally come! I can leave her now. If you are thinking like this, I suggest you shut the computer after reading this paragraph and climb up the tallest building you can find around your house and jump down from there. You rascal. She had been waiting for this moment too! But not with the heart that you can leave her! She is putting all her hope on you that you can be independent! You can take care of yourself! You can survive when she's gone! That is why she sent you out! Especially if you are boys. </div><div>e. I got my Degree! I got paid 10K a month for my first job!</div><div>Alright alright, the happiest person now? No not you. Mom. You have finally got something in your life. You can now live your own live which you have wanted and waited for 25 years. You can literally forget about her already! No no no! Then people will say I am a bad child if I do so. I better send her money every month. I think 100 will do la, since she got EPF. Oh yeah, then I will go and visit her every month and erm erm... Bring her out for dinner in some 5 Star restaurant. Yeah! That will do. Most of you will do so. I am avoiding myself of behaving in such way. I am still undergraduate. Now, like you said, she has EPF, she doesn't need your money. When you are 25, your mother will be like 50 already. Becoming senior citizen already. She already can't eat much, she don't spend much. So why she need your money? All she want is that you can live a better life than what she had lived. At the same time. She wanted her child back! She needs someone to be with her. Someone whom she loved most! A guy will lose his wife when he had his children. </div><div>3. When Mom is old and ill.</div><div>Everyone has to go through this unless you khi cia (die) earlier. So mom is not exempted from this. Even the greatest person on Earth had to grow old. She had too. Now she's old, the need of someone taking care of her is greater! Please! Even in this era, I know you don't have the time because you have you wife and your kids to entertain! You have your "business" partners to entertain to. So much so that you don't have the time to take care of your mother. Then you will sit down with you siblings and discuss who to take care of her? Well the "who" is not the siblings, the "who" is MAIDS! Or whose house is better? Whose house have better feng shui? Whose house she can meet more old folks? Where they have more people to attend to them. I mean this can't be helped. When I was 14, my teacher asked us to write an essay on "What Will You Do When Your Mother Gets Old". Well I said I would send her to old folks home in the morning and pick her up in the evening. My idea was letting her stay at home is bloody dangerous. Considering she is lack of knowledge in the electronic stuff, I thought it would be best if she can be at some place where she is save. Just imagine what if she tried to cook something and she forget to turn off the stove? She would have burnt the house, never mind since we are earning 10K a month rite? The worst is that she couldn't get out of the house in time! She will be burnt to death! So that was my idea. Oh well I dunno whether she likes it or not? However she smiled when my teacher told her that. </div><div>4. Her final journey.</div><div>Now that she is walking towards the end. By that time, you are already in your 40s or 50s. No matter who you have to entertain, please, come back to her, be with her, this is a true story. But its my grandfather. The night before my grandfather passed away, they doctor had announced the bad news that he wouldn't have to change to see another sunrise. That night he shouted in pain, all of his children were there except my uncle (not his own) who was in out station, he was rushing back. My grandfather wanted to see him for the last time. He hold onto the pain and waited in pain until the next morning. The moment my uncle came in and held his hand and call him. He smiled and shut his eyes. Even a father would have waited for his son, not to mention mother! So please, we know we couldn't do anything, so let us just make her happy for the last time if that is not the only time you can make her happy.</div><div>Let her feel the warmth in you before she leaves you for real.</div><div><br /></div><div>to be continued... </div>Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-42549516448974431212008-09-09T23:49:00.002+08:002008-09-10T00:35:43.104+08:00I Am An Illegal Immigrant Who Happens To Have A MyKADNow this is something why idiots shouldn't become politician. Recently, there is a guy from Penang, who happens to be some kinda higher member of some main component party of the ruling party of my country, let's call him A. A said something serious regarding my ethnic or race. He said that chinese are just mere immigrant who "tumpang" in this country. Well personally I would like to ask anyone. Just anyone will do. Are you a chinese or a MALAYSIAN? <div><br /></div><div>I mean that guy A must be nuts to do so. His remark is not going to get Malaysia to a better position. Neither to the Malays nor the Chinese. Malays are not going to be beneficial from this rather racist comment. I mean it is riddicculus to say so. Are chinese really immigrant? Oh HELL come on!!! That is some kinda HISTORY already. I mean it is true that chinese came from China (*duh*). However, after settling long enough in this country, I bet 80% of the chinese are now born in MALAYSIA. That is why we are not immigrant. The definition of immigrant is: someone who moves from another place (country) to go to a particular place (country) and settle down there. In this case, Chinese of this generation do not come from China, we are local! We are from MALAYSIA. So from Malaysia to Malaysia? So that's how we got ourselves being branded Immigrant?</div><div><br /></div><div>Secondly, this idiot is rather worse than an idiot. Why he only speaks about the chinese? If chinese are immigrant because they come from China, likewise Indians are also immigrant because they come from India. Why he only brand the chinese immigrant? I really don't understand this. We are Anak Malaysia (children of Malaysia). However we are being treated as anak luar nikah (bastards) now! Why? We were taught to fight for our country, but why are we fighting for someone who thinks that we are anak luar nikah? Why are we not proud of our country when we should have been? I still remember my teachers always tell me, "Malaysia is a very unique country because it is a Multiracial Nation!" Yeah right. Multiracial. I think I will change it to MultiRACISTs country. I don't see the "perpaduan". Beginning of the year one race sang a song about the other race and got himself so popular that he is coming out with his new album in Taiwan. Later some other race went and parade in the street throwing rocks. Now another race come here and defended themselves with pride saying Chinese are immigrants. We will forgive them like what US did to the native americans and what Aussie did to the aborigin. </div><div><br /></div><div>I wouldn't say more. Well simply because we have a very happening law here and it's called ISA. O.o? ISA? It is some kinda law where you can be arrested and they don't have to give a single reason. Nice isn't it? Well it seems this only work with people of my kind but not the other kind. I don't want to end up in some kinda dark places without a reason. If I am going to die, at least I want to know why and how I die.</div><div><br /></div><div>Last but not least. I AM AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT WHO HAPPENS TO HAVE A MYKAD ISSUED OFFICIALLY AND LEGALLY FROM THE MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT!</div><div><br /></div><div>ps. tearing pictures of people is something a childish girl do when she breaks up with her boyfriend. I wonder if Ahmad poked Koh Tsu Kun? Should have asked for DNA test rite??</div>Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-35423520678317044862008-09-04T22:34:00.003+08:002008-09-04T23:16:03.179+08:00AH LONG Have Their Story To Tell TooAh Long, Lintah Darat, Loan Shark, whatever you like to name them, most of us just classify them as bad people. They are pure evil some will say. However, personally, I do not think so. Let me make it clear that I am not supporting Ah Long. I am just telling what I have analysed. <div><br /></div><div>What do Ah Longs do? They loan money to people. What is wrong with that? Bank also loan money to people what? Are you trying to tell me that because they loan to big companies so they are good people while Ah Long loan to individuals so they are bad people? Nope that's nonsense. How bout Ah Long don't have license while Banks have? OK, that makes sense. To be precise, they are not paying tax, so they are those who avoided tax. Legal wise they are bad, other than that? They cut people with parang? They are gangster? They are inconsiderate people? So these are the main reasons behind Ah Long being the baddies right? Now we shouldn't be looking something from only one point of view. </div><div><br /></div><div>Every now and then, we read from the newspaper and we can see that so and so's house got painted red for free! Or maybe so and so was threatened by Ah Long and out Superhero M comes to the rescue. Have you not think of why they are being treated in this way? I tell you, even a three year old kid can answer this. They owe the Ah Long money. Harlo, when your friend owe you 1 lunch you would be teasing him for the bloody lunch until the day he treated you in some 5 star restaurant I bet. This happens to Ah Long also, but instead of teasing they decided to paint your house for free. You think paints don't need money ar? I do agree that they way they come around knocking on your door for the money is not right. I mean you do have something which you let them hold onto right? Why don't they just sell the damn thing and get the money back? Well, 2 reasons maybe. </div><div>1. They are kind hearted so they want to save your properties? (I don't think there are many like this.)</div><div>2. They damn thing you let them hold onto just barely covered your loan interest. (Yeah!) </div><div>Now, businessmen reading this now, why didn't they calculate the thing properly before loaning? Then when they sell the properties they will have enough to cover the cost. You are right. What if the above 2 cases happened at the same time? They saved your properties until the very last second before they had to sell it to cover the interest. No idiots would lend you money and tell you it's interest free. Harlo, if I want to earn money, I wouldn't be giving alms. If If I want to do charity, that's after I have money to do so. So no charity here. Return the money and we have nothing to do with each other.</div><div><br /></div><div>Secondly, why people never go to our Superhero M when they owe bank money? Why? Is it real that banks are so noble that they will send diplomats to your house and ask you when are you going to return them the money? Harlo! If you are thinking like this, then you are retarded! Bank is the most worthless senseless loaning agent you are facing. This is what happen when you loan from banks. Have you ever read in the newspaper houses being put into auction? Semi-D in Penang goes for 200K. Wake up! Even 1 stupid double stories terres in Batu Maung cost you 450K. Why Semi-D goes for 200k? Simple, the previous owner of this Semi-D failed to return the money so bank auction it to cover the cost and processing fees. So that guy might be actually getting a loan of 100K. He didn't what his house being sold for 200k. In fact if he would sell that house himself to pay back the bank, he might be able to get a flat or so in penang still. Semi-D can easily cost you 800K to 1.2 Million depending on location. For the least, not 200k ok? So don't you think banks are senseless?</div><div><br /></div><div>Oh yeah! Forgot about diplomats. Erm, have you ever heard of companies that helps people to collect debts? To tell you the truth, there are such companies. Why it's being set up? 2 possible reasons from me. </div><div>1. It's just another business, you pay me 20% of the debts then I collect it for you.</div><div>2. Banks are legitimate. Running around with parang will not make them look good. So they set these companies up and hire gangsters to do the dirty job for them la!</div><div>So now tell me what is the difference between banks and ah long?</div><div><br /></div><div>Now go and think about it. What is wrong with ah long and the bank? Which is better? Just don't be too one sided. Like it? HAHAHA. Alright, to those who had some hard time with the two questions, hold your breath! There's nothing bout that today. Hee. :p Sorry for those who are waiting for the third part. I am not going to update this series now. Thanks to my tutor who got me into this math thing again. Proving something really interesting. <div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>I really want to share this with you but not now. He gave us 3 maths problems to prove. However, I only managed to prove 2 of them, which according to him, that's SUPER EASY and Slightly easy. I am yet to prove the SIPEH (super, incredibly, riddiculusly _____(insert whatever you like) HARD proof. I already spent my whole afternoon trying to prove it. However, still I failed. Damn! <br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Some of you might be wondering why I am so obsesed with it? After all, it's just a math problem. Honestly, this is not about math now. I admit I am really facinated by numbers and math, however, sometimes pride is the issue also. He told us a story behind this proof. I will tell you the whole story after I figure out the proof. I will only tell you how lame you are if you are unable to proof the question that I am going to post later in this post. This math problem is being proved decades ago by a BOY! He's only 7 year old then. Now? Harlo! How old are you now? If you can't prove this, you lost to a kid man. LOSER! (Well, that's what kept me cracking my head for this afternoon.) However, I solved it in the end. It's this another problem that makes me go cockoo whole afternoon! <br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Nevermind bout that, just to make some noise bout losing to a kid. Hee. So here are the questions. I will post the answer some other time.<br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Let <span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>S = { 1, 2, 3, ... , 100}</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>n(A) = 51<br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>A is a subset of S<br /></div><div>I know some of you are thinking what the hell is this?</div><div>let me explain. Today, we will be discussing about inequality. Don't know what inequality means? It means not equal (literary). So, has anyone got any idea of what I am going to say? Drum please... Applause... AAAAAAAAAAAAND THIS IS THE TOPIC! <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:large;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;">INEQUALITY</span></span>! <div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family:'lucida grande';"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:x-small;">(I know it's a lame joke, sorry for that)</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:medium;"><br /></span></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Alright. Let's get to the main topic now. I am not going to teach you what inequality is cause what I am going to share now is very basic for those who had taken Add Math and I will make it as simple as possible for those who doesn't know what Maths is all about. But first of all, you have to recognise some symbols.<br /></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">1. equal to </span></span><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"> <span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span></span></span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">-- =</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">2. greater than </span></span><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"> <span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span></span></span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">-- ></span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">3. less than</span></span><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"> <span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span></span></span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">-- <</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">4. greater or equal to</span></span><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"> </span></span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">-- >= </span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">5. less or equal to</span></span><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"> </span></span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">-- <=</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">6. not equal to</span></span><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);"> <span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span></span></span></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">-- !=</span></span></div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 51);"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size:small;">* I got these symbols from C++, it's faster for me to write in this form</span></span></div><div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>So let's start of with some simple Mathematics. <br /></div><div>1. Learn some number classification.</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Integers and Rational numbers.<br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Integers are whole numbers, positive and negative numbers. NO FRACTIONS NO DECIMAL POINTS!<br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Rational numbers are fractions of 2 integers. where the denominator is not 0. eg. 1/2, -3/9.<br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Alright we can start now. Most of us know that fractions are also numbers and decimal are also numbers. So they are actually equal at some point. Say 1/2 = 0.5 and 7/8 = 0.875. All fractions can be changed into decimal form but not all decimal can change into fraction form. I'll give you an example of a decimal number which can't change into fraction form or we say rational numbers. Try changing <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 0, 153);">1.414213562</span> into a fraction (rational number). How do we know that this number can be changed into fractions? So there is a basic rule. If your decimal number has some numbers been repeating at the back. it can be changed into fractions.</div><div>eg. 0.<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">1</span>11111111111... = 1/9 </div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>you can see that 1 is repeating<br /></div><div>eg. 0.<span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">923076</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(255, 102, 0);">923076</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 204, 0);">923076...</span> = 12/13</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>notice that 923076 is repeating<br /></div><div><br /></div><div>So we made a conclusion that all number with some numbers being repeated at the back can be changed into fraction. For those in Form 4 and Form 5, remember changing some stupid numbers into fraction form using the <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);">Geomatric Series Rule and the Sum To Infinity of a Geometric Series</span>? S = a/(1-r)? Alright now try changing 0.9999999....9999...99...9999 into a fraction. Now first thing first, answer this question.</div><div>Is </div><div>A) 0.9999999999999...9999999...999999....99999 = 1 ? Or you say that </div><div>B) 0.99999999999...99999999...9999999...9999 <><div>Don't bluff! I know u chose A. Yeah everyone will choose A base on what they see. </div><div><br /></div><div>Now let us work this out and you will not believe what you see! Math is Magic!</div><div><br /></div><div>So we use the geomatric way i mentioned just now.</div><div>So <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 0);">0.99999999999....999999...99999...9999... = 0.9 + 0.09 + 0.009 +...</span> right?</div><div>There for we have a Geometric Series of </div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(102, 51, 51);">a = 0.9</span> and <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(102, 51, 51);">r = </span>0.09/0.9 = 0.009/0.09 = <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(102, 51, 51);">0.1 or 1/10</span>.</div><div>Use the formula of <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 0, 0);">Sum To Infinity</span>. ( This series has no end cause its a convergent series, the limit will goes to 0 (zero) when the number of terms goes to 00 (infinity).</div><div>So the formula is S = a/(1-r) --- if you don't believe me, google it.</div><div>So S = 0.99999999999999....9999999999...9999999... right?</div><div>S = a/(1-r)</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 51, 0);">S = 0.9/(1-0.1)</span></div><div>There for we put 0.9999999999999.....99999999......999999.... back into the S</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 51, 51);">0.99999......9999999.....9999999... = 0.9/(1-0.1) = 0.9/0.9 = 9/9 =1</span></div><div>So we make a conclusion that, </div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 102);">0.99999999...9999999...99999 = 1</span><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Now do u agree? NO? DON'T LIKE IT THIS WAY? Ok, I'll show you and esier way. </div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(102, 51, 51);">0.9999999.....999999999...99999..99999 = 0.6666666666666...66666... + 0.33333333333...3333333...33333</span> right?</div><div>and <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 51, 0);">0.6666666666666666666....6666666666....666666... = 2/3</span></div><div>and <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 51, 0);">0.3333333333333333333...33333..333333...3333..... = 1/3</span></div><div>so <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 102);">0.999999999........9999999.......999999....</span> = 2/3 + 1/3</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span> = 3/3<br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span> = <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(0, 0, 102);">1</span><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Now you agree? Just accept it. Now Math has once again shown its Magic to you.</div><div>Challenge my theory.</div><div><br /></div></div>Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8652557012869908098.post-70330098011093237972008-07-17T23:10:00.003+08:002008-07-18T00:12:47.675+08:00Wonders of Numbers - Part I<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Harlo! I am fascinated by all the numbers and their theory and sometimes the working that you just can't prove it with the Math theory. You know, the magic of Math! You will go WOW! OOO! I'll show you some MAGIC for the posts to come.</div><div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>This Magic, I learnt it when I was attending a camp 2 years ago. Secrets reveal. <br /></div><div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>It is a known fact to many mathematician, especially those who are good in mental arithmetic. The trick starts when I ask you to multiply your number with 9. It is proven that if you multiply a number with 9, the sum of all the digits from your product will eventually become 9 when u add it until it become a 1-digit number.<br /></div><div><br /></div><div>eg1. 8960986 x 9 = 801548874</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>8+0+1+5+4+8+8+7+4 = 45<br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>4+5 = <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);">9</span><br /></div><div>eg2.<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>7649512 x 9 = 68845608</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>6+8+8+4+5+6+0+8 = 45<br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>4+5 = <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);">9</span><br /></div><div>eg3.<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>56772851 x 9 =510955659</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>5+1+0+9+5+5+6+5+9 = 45<br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>4+5 = <span class="Apple-style-span" style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);">9</span><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>By these 3 example, you can see that I randomly pick any number and multiply it by 9. When I sum all the digits in the product up, I will get a 9 in the end. With this, I am already MANIPULATING your mind. I make you subtract 5 from 9, which will result in 4. You will get D. with limited countries starting with the alphabet D, you will choose a better known country - Denmark. I make you think of an animal starting with the alphabet next to D, which is E, you will think of the easiest and largest animal on land - ELEPHANT.</div><div><br /></div><div>That's how I know what you are thinking. Elephant in Denmark. MUAHAHAHAHA.</div><div><br /></div><div>Isn't numbers just fun? Math is even better. Like my mom always says :</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;">"Math is like a piece of music, the numbers are the notes on the grid, the way you put the numbers together and solve a problem is like putting all the notes together and play the music. When you hit the right note, you produce a piece of beautiful music."</span></div><div>As well as what my Professor says:</div><div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;">"Math is an ART. It is for those who really see the value in it to see the beauty in it. I don't know what Picasso or Leonardo </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;">da</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"> </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;">Vinci</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-style: italic;"> is drawing so I don't see the beauty in it. Enjoy numbers and you will enjoy math. Again, I want to stress that numbers is not the series NUMB3RS. My apologies. Actually I had been quite busy with my assignments and this particular thing which was bothering me for the past week. For those who have no idea what I am talking about, we ( lotsa people who just passed STPM2007 ) got their Government Universities Entrance offer last Wednesday. All of us were excited of getting to know where we were offered. Of course, there were people who laughed and sobbed. To those who managed to get a good course (to you), Congratulation. To those who did not get offered, your fate will be determined next before 31st July, don't worry. To those who got some lousy course (to you and me), my sympathy. <div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Actually, this good or not good thing was very subjective. You might think that this course is good, he might not think so. Simply because of interest and the job prospect and your capability of doing that subject. So in this case, those who considered themselves being offered some bad courses, too bad! No appeal! You have to stick with it or you go to private university. So I actually consider the happiest person would be those who did not get any offer but finally gets it. They will be over the moon by then. Yay! Ok. So what was I being bothered of? This is the thing, I just told you who are the happiest people. Now the saddest group will be those who fell into the group which they got some stupid courses. Again, this was just a personal view. Let me bring you back to one week ago. When the result had been just released.</div><div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>>>--------WOOOOOOSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH------------------------------><br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Sepilok<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>: Yao meh? Ok, ok, koh lai ci tau.</div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span> (Really? Ok, ok, again.)<br /></div><div><br /></div><div>So I sent the second message. The thing came back and make me feel really happy!</div><div><br /></div><div>Taniah! Anda telah berjaya mendapat tawaran daripada UKM dan kursus yang ditawar ialah KS08. Sila hubungi xx-xxxx xxxx untuk maklumat lanjut.</div><div><br /></div><div>WEEEEEEE!!!!! UKM LO!</div><div><br /></div><div>oops, forget to translate. Congratulations! You have successfully got an offer from UKM and the course is KS08. Please call xx-xxxx xxx for further information.</div><div><br /></div><div>Wah?! I got UKM? Suppose to be the top university in Malaysia now. I got it! What the hell man. So I told myself I can't be so lucky. So I looked at the course. What the hell is KS08? What could that be? Could it be my first choice? Actuarial Science? If so I will be in the history of entering this course not with CGPA 4.0. So they were all around me congratulating me for my offer. They ask me whether I will accept the offer or stay in UTAR. I told them I will probably accept it if it's Actuarial Science. They say no need to think la. Sure is Actuarial Science! So I actually got carried away a little bit. Thinking how nice if it's Actuarial Science. Or could it be Mechanical Engineering. Immediately I sms my friends asking what do they get. To my surprise. They got USM, UTEM, UMS and UniMAS. I thought what the hell. What about their courses? Mechenical engineering. So that's not bad. Kejuruteraan Pembuatan? Ekonomi Industri? Chemistry? What the =>_<=?! I got lousier result and got offered better? How could that be?</div><div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>So I quickly log into UKM website but too bad it's been clogged up, so I have to suppress my anxiety till after lecture. The feeling of wanting to know what is KS08 kept me restless the whole lecture. Damn. The feeling was like, you won't understand and I don't know how to explain. So finally the two hours of torturing is finally over. Me and my friends again went to the computer lab. Some want to find out theirs and Jay wanted to appeal. Me? OF COURSE IS FIND OUT WHAT THE FUCK IS KS08! So I log into the site again. This time siok d. Can log in! So I quickly browse through the whole list of University codes and find KS08. Finally! Found it. I thought my eyes are playing tricks on me. Maths? I see again. Actuarial Science. No no no. It's MATH. The bloody code sheet was so small that I had to look a few times before confirming I got MATH! I was like TIU. Math nia la. At that moment I told myself, should I go to the top university or should I stay here and finish of with actuarial science?</div><div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>I was so nervous and I called my mom. Well after talking to her, I actually had a feeling that I was some how experiencing the same luck as her. She had to study in PJ, she was a major in math, and many thing. Now only I understand the secrets between a mother and a son. Cut the crap. She only tell me one thing. Math, what job can you get? Do you want to end up like me? Then I took that into consideration. Later that day, I posted a question to a forum. All I get was quite stupid. "It depends on you, what you like." Harlo! If I know then I wouldn't be asking la! I need suggestion! Not you telling me to follow what I like. So I was still undecided until last Friday. Somebody finally said something that made sense. "</div><div><br /></div><div>" Do you want to be a Math Teacher or an Actuary? I think Actuary has a better prospect. Stay in UTAR" -xxx-</div><div><br /></div><div>I'll keep him anonymous. However, I seriously thank him for helping me to make up my mind. His words are just as wise as Socrates'. He enlightened me! I went on searching what can I do with a Math degree. My result? Teacher, Lecturer, Researcher or Mathematician. TUT... I can be all that except Mathematician with my Actuarial Science degree. So that helped me to make up my mind already. I DO NOT WANT TO BE A MATHEMATICS TEACHER! I will stay in UTAR to complete my course. I had chosen this. I will not turn against my decision. I will not regret. </div><div><br /></div><div><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Finally, congratulation to those who got awesome courses again. While those who got into the same situation as me, bless you. Seriously, get into something which you really like and really have a good future. Last but not least, my sympathy to those who did not get offered. They say every road leads to Rome. I forgot which language was it from already. So be strong and face the real world now my friends. University life is really nothing like those time we had in school and especially Smart X Idiot era.</div><div><br /></div><div>-- sign off--</div><div>v(^v^)v </div>Sepilokhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12254238595856266757noreply@blogger.com0
